    The 1969 Catalog recommends using the 1A4 instead of the M Plug-In.

    Tektronix Type M Four Trace Preamp plug in unit. .02v/div - 10 v/div, bandpass up to 50 Mhz. Chopped or Alt display.
    =====================================
    This is a four channel amp that works fine except that the 1A4 works better
    =====================================
    TEXTRONIX type M, 4 channel Y axis (vertical) plug-in for the Tektronix series 530 and other oscilloscopes.Each channel has a input gain of 0.02 volts to 10 volts. A switch selects alternate or chopped modes. This is a fairly late version as it uses tubes, Nuvistors, and transistors. These plug-ins measure 5.9"W x 7"H x 9.2"D. Used in the 1960's.
