The 5345A is a high performance, DC to 500 MHz Electronic Counter. It uses a reciprocal counting technique to achieve impressive resolution compared to conventional counters. For example, a 1 MHz signal can be resolved to .002 Hz in one second. Resolution can be traded for mesaurement speed, making the 5345A an excellent choice for high speed data acquisition systems. Measurement modes include frequency, period, time interval, time interval average, ratio, and start/stop modes.
