STRATEGIES
The Problem :
The bolts holding the front and rear panels together interfere with the mounting rails. The left meter mounting tab is also in the mounting rail area.

The challenge is to make the unit fit between the rails.
The photos below show the panel build as supplied by Hispa Panels.

  • Get 4 DZUS replica bolts (PC Flights and Sismo both supply them).
  • Trim the left side of the meter faceplate.
  • Glue front and rear acrylic plates together and cut to fit around the meter, switch and annunciator. (See Sismo Soluciones version).
  • The acrylic plate will have to be shifted left a little to miss the DZUS screw heads.
  • Make an aluminum mounting plate to mount everything. Include openings for the backlights.
