STRATEGIES
The Problem :
This panel is too high and not a DZUS multiple. The mounting hole spacing is also incorrect.

The challenge is to make a panel of the correct size.
The photos below show the panel build as supplied by Hispa Panels with homemade circuit board.

Post Script files for the circuit board

Circuit Board

Circuit Board Mirrored

  • Get 4 DZUS replica bolts (PC Flights and Sismo both supply them).
  • Fabricate 2 new circuit boards:
Circuit board for lighting the ENGINE plate. This board will use surface mount LEDs and mount within the acrylic backing panel.
Circuit board for external connections including for lights, annunciators, and pushbutton switches.
  • Either cut down the HISPA panel or get a new sub-panel from SISMO
  • Make an aluminum mounting plate to mount everything including annunciators and the acrylic switch plate.
  • Add spacers to aluminum plate to mount the connector PCB. (Use 1/4" square spacers for mounting 1/16" sides ??)
