STRATEGIES
The Problem :
This panel is already the correct size. The mounting holes are about 1/16" shy of the proper distance, but when enlarging to the larger mounting bolt can be made to fit. Adding one more bolt to the front of the panel eliminates the need for hardware in the mounting rail area.

The existing circuit board needs two holes added for the display cables.

This unit, except as noted, will be left alone.
The photos below show the panel build as supplied by Hispa Panels with my circuit board and the extra panel bolt.
Note the 3 LEDs glued to the back acrylic for lighting the "NAV" on the left edge.
